Connect Demand Discovery to Lovable
Demand Discovery works in Lovable as a custom chat connector. Test whether an idea is worth building before spending credits on it—or decide whether an existing project should continue, pivot, or stop.
Custom MCP servers are available on all Lovable plans unless a workspace administrator has disabled them.
The connector URL is always:
https://mcp.demanddiscovery.ai/api/mcp
That is the only URL you need. If an AI assistant gives you different install steps or a different URL, use this page instead.
Lovable setup
- In the Lovable editor, select the + beside the prompt box and choose Project connectors.
- Open All connectors. Do not choose App connections; those are services used by the app you are building.
- Search for MCP and select Custom — Connect your own MCP.
- Name it Demand Discovery, paste the connector URL above, choose No authentication, and select Add server.
- Open the Demand Discovery connector and set Manage all permissions to Always allow so the agent can use the tools without asking every time.
- Confirm that Demand Discovery appears under Chat connectors.
- Tell Lovable: “I’d like to run an idea through Demand Discovery.” The exact phrase starts the full report flow.

Troubleshooting
- Demand Discovery was added as an App connection. Remove it and add it under Project connectors → All connectors as a custom MCP chat connector.
- You cannot add a custom MCP server. A Lovable workspace administrator may have disabled Custom MCP or remote MCP connectors in workspace settings.
- Lovable gives only a short answer. Use the exact prompt above. A casual “Should I build this?” may produce a quick answer instead of starting the complete report flow.
- You got a different URL from an AI assistant. Only https://mcp.demanddiscovery.ai/api/mcp is the Demand Discovery connector URL.
