Terms of Service
Effective date: April 21, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Demand Discovery AI and the website, applications, and services made available at demanddiscovery.ai. By using Demand Discovery, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. The service
Demand Discovery provides software tools that analyze public market signals to help users research demand for startup ideas, identify potential customers, generate outreach drafts, and manage related workflow activity. Reports, scores, and recommendations are informational only and do not constitute investment, legal, or business advice.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these Terms to purchase a paid plan. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you submit, for maintaining the security of your account and credentials, and for all activity that occurs under your account.
3. User content and connected accounts
You may provide content (such as startup ideas and outreach preferences), connect third-party accounts such as Google, and authorize Demand Discovery to perform certain actions inside those connected accounts on your behalf — for example, creating drafts, sending approved outreach, and reading replies on threads we originated.
You retain rights to your content. You grant us a limited license to host, process, transmit, and display your content only as needed to operate the service.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use any content, contact data, or connected-account data you provide through the service, and for the lawfulness of any outreach you send through Demand Discovery.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- violate applicable laws or regulations, including anti-spam laws (such as CAN-SPAM, CASL, and GDPR) when sending outreach;
- infringe the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of others;
- misuse connected-account permissions or attempt to access data outside the scopes you granted;
- use the service to send unsolicited bulk email, phishing, or other abusive messages;
- attempt unauthorized access to the service, reverse engineer it, or scrape it at scale;
- interfere with the operation, integrity, or security of the service;
- impersonate others or submit ideas, content, or contact data you have no right to share.
5. Google and third-party services
Some features of Demand Discovery depend on third-party services, including Google (Gmail, Google account sign-in), Stripe (payments), Resend (transactional email), and the public APIs of platforms such as Reddit, YouTube, Hacker News, Product Hunt, X, and Indie Hackers.
Your use of those services may also be subject to their separate terms and policies, including the Google Terms of Service and the Google API Services User Data Policy. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control. Demand Discovery's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
6. Fees and payments
Certain features require payment. Paid plans are billed through Stripe at the price shown at checkout, and you agree to pay all applicable fees and taxes. Refund requests within 14 days of purchase will be reviewed in good faith. Reach out if you believe a charge is in error.
7. No guarantee of results
Demand Discovery is a software tool. We do not guarantee business outcomes, revenue, customer acquisition, response rates, or any specific result from using the service. Demand scores and prospect lists are based on public signals and should not be treated as investment or hiring advice.
8. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk or harm to us or other users, or if required by law. You may stop using the service at any time. You may also disconnect any connected Google account at any time from inside Demand Discovery or from your Google account permissions.
9. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any signal, score, or recommendation will be accurate.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Demand Discovery and its affiliates, officers, employees, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, data, or business opportunities. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising from the service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
11. Changes to the service or terms
We may modify the service or these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the updated effective date above. Continued use after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
